A1 Framing Supplies Warehouse is owned and operated in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia by Kerry Hart and Jenny Godfrey. In 1996 we opened the do-it-yourself picture framing warehouse to operate alongside our custom picture framing business, Bizarre Framing which had been operating since 1993.
At Windsor, a northside suburb of Brisbane we have a factory where we sell all do it yourself picture framing equipment, mouldings, mat boards, backing boards, glass and accessories needed for successful picture framing at home.

2009 Done & Dusted - Oh and Framed!!
Hello everyone out there,
Hopefully you have all survived the 24 hour shopping sprees at the major shopping centres and still managed to support the owner owned and operated small businesses - like ours!
I will make this short and sweet - knowing that we are all frantically winding up for the year.
I want to thank each and every one who has supported Bizarre and A1 Framing Supplies in 2009. We are the luckiest people on earth, as our job is a real feel good one. We not only have the privilege of being invited into your lives and homes with things we frame for you. We also have the joy of helping people choose their supplies to do their own framing.
So, I know it is going to sound corny - but I sincerely thank you for supporting us at Bizarre and A1. You all help keep the 6 of us and our families fed!
I have attached our Christmas voucher that was attached to the bon bons we gave out. If you didnt get into our factory during December, here is the discount voucher which we hope you can use in 2010.
We hope you and your loved ones have a very happy and safe Christmas holiday season, and that 2010 is full of good health, and many happy times.
Take care, Merry Christmas, Jen, Kerry, Mark, Simon, Peter, Nat, Brit, Bella & Pixie
PS - Let's not even mention that I am turning 50 in January!!! Jen
Treading Lightly ..... The New Eco Range
9 sleeps until Christmas! Is it just me, or did everyone else lose track of all time this year? I hope it’s not the first sign of aging… ?
With Christmas just around the corner, we’ve been building up into a frenzy of excitement. Like Santa’s elves, we’re hammering away night and day; making frames at warp speed so they make it under the Christmas trees in time. It’s not unusual for me to be here at 4am on weekends.... and no, it’s not because I don’t have a life, it’s because I am so passionate and dedicated to my art! (Okay, so I don’t have a life, but its fun to pretend that I do while I’m working!!)
So… for your Christmas shopping pleasure, we have ready made frames of every shape and colour, we have do-it-yourself supplies, and we’re always on stand-by to help you design your own frames.
This Christmas, we have 2 big announcements:
#1 – We’re running our inaugural Christmas Competition on a $100 voucher to spend on any of our products. If you’d like to be in the draw, you can put your name in the box at our factory (8/104 Newmarket Road, Windsor) or simply email your details to us and we’ll throw it in for you. a1frames@bigpond.net.au . With your permission, we’ll also add you to the mailing list for our quarterly newsletter, which has lots of offers of further discounts and member specials. And… drum roll please…
#2 – We’re launching the first ever Eco Range of frame mouldings! • Eco Choice is a new range of picture frame mouldings, made using environmentally friendly materials and processes. • Eco Choice timber is harvested from managed plantations, carefully grown and controlled using sustainable forestry techniques. • Eco Choice colours have been produced using water based and solvent free finishes. • Eco Choice range is committed to helping the environment for generations to come b donating a proportion of sales to Australian conversation initiatives.
We are so excited to offer the Eco Choice range for custom framing and our DIY clients, and to make our small contribution to sustainability. We hope that our customers will be inspired to use mouldings as much as possible that aren’t derived from rain forest timber and are produced with integrity. One small step for framers… and one big step for mankind! (Oh, there I go again with my delusions of grandeur!
Happy Christmas, every body. We look forward to serving all your framing needs in the New Year! Jen
